Video Video: Wicked Gets Brickified With Full-Length LEGO Trailer

Four Wicked-Themed LEGO sets will be released this fall to celebrate the upcoming film of the international musical.

It's good to see them (as mini-figs), isn't it?

Take a look at the official Wicked LEGO brickified trailer—featuring Elphaba, Glinda, Fiyero, The Wizard, Morrible, and more—in the video above. The Danish company has re-created the entire three-minute trailer shot-for-shot in LEGO.

As previously reported, the LEGO Group and Universal Products and Experiences are joining forces for four new Wicked-themed LEGO sets.

The new Wicked sets, featuring mini-figs, will be released October 1, inspired by the first of the two Wicked films, which is set to hit movie theatres November 27. No word yet on what those sets will be.

“The story of Wicked creates such an incredible experience for families, so being part of the team creating LEGO sets inspired by the upcoming movie and bringing that universe to life is hugely exciting,” said Raquel Ojeda Gregorio, LEGO Wicked Design Lead at the LEGO Group, in an earlier statement. “Wicked has some of the most magical locations and characters, and recreating that with LEGO bricks is a match made in Oz. I can’t wait for fans to see these colorful sets and hope they will enjoy unlocking their imagination, creating, and telling their own Wicked-inspired stories.”
