Full casting has been revealed for the upcoming West End premiere of The Devil Wears Prada, a musical adaptation of the 2006 film featuring music by Elton John, lyrics by 2024 Tony nominee Shaina Taub (Suffs), and a book by Kate Wetherhead.

A pre-West End preview will play Theatre Royal Plymouth July 6-August 17 before heading to London's Dominion Theatre in October. Tony winner Jerry Mitchell directs and choreographs.

As previously announced, Vanessa Williams will lead the cast as the ruthless Miranda Priestly. Joining her will be Georgie Buckland as Andy, in her West End debut; Amy Di Bartolomeo (SIX: The Musical) as Emily; James Darch as Christian; Rhys Whitfield as Nate; and Olivier winner Matt Henry as Nigel.

The company will also include Maddy Ambus, Gabby Antrobus, Selena Barron, Pamela Blair, Robertina Bonano, Lloyd Davies, Elishia Edwards, Akeem Ellis-Hyman, Elizabeth Fullalove, Jinny Gould, Natasha Heyward, Samuel How, Luke Jackson, Debbie Kurup, Liam Marcellino, Robbie McMillan, Ciro Lourencio Meulens, Gabriel Mokake, Theo Papoui, Christopher Parkinson, Eleanor Peach, Ethan Le Phong, Jon Reynolds, Harriet Samuel-Gray, Olivia Saunders, Kayleigh Thadani, Ella Valentine, and Tara Yasmin.

Based on the novel by Lauren Weisberger and the 2006 film adaptation, The Devil Wears Prada follows aspiring fashion journalist Andy Sachs. When she is hired as assistant to Miranda Priestly, editor-in-chief of the fictional Runway Magazine, she discovers that breaking into the industry requires more than she expected.

The Devil Wears Prada had its world premiere at Chicago's James M. Nederlander Theatre in 2022. The production was directed by Tony winner Anna D. Shapiro and starred Tony winner Beth Leavel and Taylor Iman Jones as Miranda Priestly and Andy Sachs, respectively.

Mitchell has assembled a totally new creative team for his staging, with the West End bow set to feature scenic design by Tim Hatley, costume design by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Bruno Poet, and sound design by Gareth Owen. Casting is by Jill Green.

Kevin McCollum and Rocket Entertainment's David Furnish are still attached as producers after working on the Chicago world premiere. Joining for the London bow is Jamie Wilson. They present by special arrangement with Buena Vista Theatrical.
