GENERAL MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT AT BROADWAY INTERNATIONAL GROUP:

Broadway International Group (BIG), founded by Tony and Olivier Award winning producers Marc Routh and Simone Genatt, is one of the pre-eminent international producing, general management and licensing firms.

We are currently in a period of expansion and are seeking experienced, energetic, intelligent, and motivated professionals for the position of General Management Assistant for Broadway International Group for the exciting upcoming projects including:

The Global Tour of The Sound of Music directed by Jack O'Brien, the premiere of Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus's production of Mamma Mia! The Party in the Netherlands this September, a new venue and hilarious comedy premiering at the Wynn Hotel Group in Macao directed by John Rando, and a forthcoming international tour of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory among other live entertainment projects in development.

Salary: $650-$850 will depend on candidate's qualifications with significant growth opportunities.

This position is a full time (10am-6pm, 40 hours per week) salaried position with access to benefits.


Position: General Management Assistant

Description:
The General Management Assistant will handle the daily business related to upcoming commercial theatre productions, support general and company management reporting directly to the world-renowned Tony Award-winning producer and general manager Marc Routh, and primarily assist in finance and administrative operations.

Successful applicants must be organized, be good-humored and self-motivated and possess excellent communication and writing skills, and have an expertise in Excel.

Requirements:
A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in the administrative side of the theatre industry, other administrative experience welcomed.

Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perfform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.

Must have very strong written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skills.

Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also work independently with excellent follow-up skills.

Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and be adaptable to various competing demands and with the ability to multi-task.

Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), Adobe Acrobat


Responsibilities:
Supporting General Managers and Finance on all aspects of production, including contracting, budget maintenance, insurance applications, visa applications, and company travel logistics.

Administrative support tasks such as taking meeting notes, scheduling meetings, calendar oversight, travel coordination, and proper filing of documents.

Handle correspondence, emails, phone calls, and other communications on behalf of the management team.

Maintain organized files, documents, and records related to theater operations.

Support the planning and execution of events, productions, and performances by coordinating logistics, liaising with staff and external partners, and ensuring all necessary arrangements are in place.

Assist with front-of-house operations during events if needed, including ticketing, and seating arrangements.

Act as a point-of-contact for internal departments, external vendors, artists, and other stakeholders, relaying messages and facilitiation communication as required.

Assist with the coordination of staff schedules, ie: meetings.
