Calling all artists! Broadway's Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is inviting fans to submit original artwork for the production's first ever Showbill cover art contest. From now through 11 AM EST July 8, fans can submit their designs for a chance to be featured on Showbill covers at the Lyric Theatre.

The grand prize winner's design will be featured on Showbill covers for the entire month of September. The artist will also receive a $950 cash prize, a pair of tickets to the show, and a package of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child merchandise. Second and third place winners will also receive a pair of tickets.

Contestants must be U.S. residents and age 18 or older to submit their artwork. For those under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian may submit.

Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is an original play by Thorne with direction by Tiffany. It follows Albus, the son of Harry Potter, as he navigates his first years at Hogwarts and becomes friends with Scorpius Malfoy, the son of his father's rival, Draco.

The work premiered at London's Palace Theatre in 2016 before crossing the pond to Broadway in 2018. Subsequent productions have played Melbourne, San Francisco, Hamburg, Toronto, and Tokyo. A North American tour is set to launch in September 2024.
