In bloom this month are the performers, directors, playwrights, and other theatre artists who celebrate their birthdays among the flowers. May is a blissful month for a host of talent who have brought life to frivolous whims on Broadway. All the world is brimming with fun as they begin a new year.

And for those of you wondering what will become of your wicked little thoughts, let this month's horoscopes help you determine whether you'll be wholesome or "un." After all, it is Taurus and Gemini season!

Lift you champagne glasses high! Production Stage Manager Cody Renard Richard (Sweeney ToddA Strange Loop), currently on Broadway with Lempicka, celebrates his birthday on May 1. 

Hello, Kate Baldwin! Celebrating her birthday on May 2, Baldwin (Hello, Dolly!Big FishThoroughly Modern Millie) is sure to have a thoroughly wonderful day. Also celebrating on May 2 are Christine Baranski (HurlyburlyBoeing-Boeing) and the late lyricist Lorenz Hart (Pal JoeyElanie Stritch at Liberty). 

Most seen Off-Broadway in The Seven Year Disappear, our May 3 birthday is Taylor Trensch (CamelotHello, Dolly!Dear Evan Hansen). Also celebrating on May 3 are Bobby Cannavale (Lifespan of a Fact) and the late lyricist Betty Comden (On the TownOn the Twentieth Century). 

Roger Rees (The Addams FamilyUncle Vanya) celebrates his birthday on May 5. We're happy sad to be celebrating the late director of Peter and the Starcatcher this May. Also ringing in his birthday on May 5 is Jose Llana (Here Lies Love), with whom we'll be "Dancing Together" in celebration.

May 6 is a triple threat day! Composer Scott Frankel (War PaintGrey Gardens), Kerry Ellis (Wicked), and a member of the Evan Hansen club, Noah Galvin (Waitress), all share a birthday on this day.

Playwrights Suzan-Lori Parks, whose Sally & Tom are currently running at the Public Theater,  and Katori Hall (TinaThe Mountaintop) are May 10 top dogs, celebrating their shared birthday with performer Caroline Bowman (Life of PiKinky Boots).  

It's today! The late golden girl Bea Arthur (Threepenny OperaFiddler on the RoofMame) celebrates her birthday alongside Matt Doyle (Company) on May 13. 

For Gabriel Ebert (Pass OverMatilda the Musical), Cate Blanchett (The Present), and 2024 Tony nominee David Byrne (Here Lies LoveAmerican Utopia), May 14 is a "Once in a Lifetime" day. 

A.J. Shively (Paradise SquareBright Star), David Krumholtz (Leopoldstadt), and the late Lainine Kazan (Funny Girl) are the greatest stars on May 15. 

On May 16, we're carrying the banner for Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Mary Poppins, Tuck EverlastingNewsies the Musical), Bruce Norris (Clybourne Park), and Kennedy Kanagawa (Into the Woods) who celebrate their birthday on this day. 

Let's have some fun now for Howard Ashman (AladdinThe Little MermaidLittle Shop of Horrors) and the late Bob Saget (Hand to God, The Drowsy Chaperone) on their May 17 birthday. 

On May 18, we wear pink in celebration of Tina Fey (Mean GirlsFreestyle Love Supreme), Meredith Willson (The Music ManThe Unsinkable Molly Brown), and the late Robert Morse (How to Succeed in Business Without Really TryingThe Front Page).

Playwright Lorraine Hansberry (A Raisin in the Sun) celebrates her birthday on May 19 alongside Pete Townshend, whose The Who's Tommy is currently nominated for Best Revival of a Musical.

"We're Goin' Loco!" for our May 20 birthdays: Sierra Boggess (HarmonyThe Phantom of the Opera), Judy Kuhn (Fiddler on the RoofFun Home), Lisa Kron (Fun Home), and Fra Fee (The Ferryman). 

Director Tina Landau (Mother PlaySpongebob Squarepants) and Oscar winner Da'Vine Joy Randolph (Ghost) are our super sea stars on May 21. 

We're writing love letters to Lea DeLaria (POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive, My Love Letter to Broadway) on May 23. 

Omigod you guys! May 24 is all about 2024 Tony nominee Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer (SpamalotBeetlejuiceLegally Blonde) and Alex Lacamoire (Sweeney Todd). 

The wait is over on May 25 as Ian McKellen (Freestyle Love SupremeWaiting for Godot) celebrates his birthday.

It's hip to be John-Michael Lyles on May 28 as The Heart of Rock and Roll performer celebrates his birthday. 

How wonderful to be celebrating Idina Menzel (WickedRent) and Tonya Pinkins (Holler If Ya Hear MeCaroline, Or Change) on May 30.
