Westway Music, along with The Theatre Cafe, digitally releases a new tribute album to the music of composer Stephen Schwartz June 27. Titled, Schwartz Songs, the album features material from some of Schwartz's most beloved shows, including Prince of Egypt, Pippin, Children of Eden, Wicked, Godspell, and more.
A six-time Tony winner, Schwartz has also amassed three Grammy Awards, three Academy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and an Olivier Award across his 50-year career.
Schwartz Songs showcases an array of West End talent, including Marisha Wallace, Trevor Dion Nicholas, Samantha Barks, Jamie Muscato, Lucie Jones, Louise Dearman, Kerry Ellis, Rachel Tucker, Billy Luke Nevers, John Owen-Johns, Oliver Tompsett, Rob Houchen, Hiba Elchikhe, Alice Fearn, Rachel John, Peter Joback, Jamie Lambert, Jordan Luke Gage, and Emma Kingston.
